I was so excited when my photographer asks me about a ring I was wearing. I explained to her my brother, Michael had it made for me by a jeweler friend. The ring was to be a Christmas present but he was so excited about giving it to me that he gave it to me early! I loved it and was very excited for the “Made especially for me” gift. Little did I know within a couple of years he would die in a car accident at the age of 30. Michael was an amazing person. I never heard him say a negative thing about anyone. I adored my brother. The ring is one of my most cherished worldly possessions! I hope to pass it along to my daughter or one of my granddaughters.
Another thing I like about these photos is it captures my hands and my feet. How often I have wondered what my mothers’ hands and feet looked like. She passed away in childbirth at the age of 28 years old. So, when my photographer @lindseypowellphotography suggested we photograph them, I was thrilled. It won’t mean much to anyone but my family.

Do you have a photo of your mother and/or father’s hands? Have you kept something with their handwriting?? Have you recorded their voice? It’s the little things that mean the most when they are no longer here. Just something to consider.
P.S. My ring looks a lot like Princess Diana’s but I had mine long before she had hers. (Smile)
Thank you for being an amazing example of what a mom, friend and follower of Jesus should look like💖
