When it comes to my closet I am very specific. I have 200 hangers. If I bring in two new shirts, I have to get rid of two shirts. All of us only wear about 20 items over and over. So why do we have 400 things in our closet?
Most items you haven’t worn in a long time, or there are some that are too large or too small. The way I organize my closet, is that I remove everything and as I am putting them back in, I ask myself, “Do I love it? Have I worn it lately? Does it fit?”
My thoughts on our stuff:
Most of us have jobs we don’t like to pay for houses too big to store all the items we don’t need. Most Europeans don’t have issues with this. Why are Americans so glutenous? I wear 100% of everything in my closet.
We all leave here the same way we enter, with nothing. We aren’t taking our stuff with us, so why do we want to leave the responsibility of cleaning out our closets to our loved ones?
